Resume

About Me...

A creative engineer. I love to dig into the minute details of a problem and find possible ways out of it. Throughout the 4 years of my engineering, I have understood the power of technology and its potential to solve problems. My intrigue in technology and the motive to solve the problem of the people has inspired me to explore the fields of Virtual Reality, Signal Processing, Software development, embedded systems, machine learning, and algorithms.

And otherwise...I am a nature lover who loves sketching and dancing. I have been a part of the college basketball team for 2 years and the departmental dance team.

Me & HCI...

During my undergrad in Information Technology, I gave a technical presentation as a part of an academic course - ‘Principles of Communication’ on the electric wheelchair of Stephen Hawking, proposed by the Human-Computer Interaction team from the Intel labs. The presentation gave me a holistic understanding of how technologies can be developed to overcome the problems that exist. In the quest for the answer to my ever daunting question - “ How do I make a useful project? ” I got the answer … It's the ‘Users’ who form the true foundation of usable technologies. I instantly knew which area I want to work on... It was the technology that interacts with the users... It was Human-Computer Interaction which answered my question regarding the usability of a product.

What I think….

In my view, the world we live in has abundant real-world challenges and excessive systems. Building accessible technologies can bridge the gap between human needs and technological solutions. This can be done using modern techniques in the field of Human-Computer Interaction. My goal is to develop healthcare products for the disabled to aid them in communicating and performing daily tasks.
